I forgot to say that application was uninstalled previously, it was not completely removed from ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files and I removed it manually. I checked for applications.menu file which GNOME menu could not show after changes made with Alacarte and saw it is zero length file. I will have to remove .config/menus/applications.menu and then I will see the menu again with all obsoletes.
Conclusion: Looks as described scenario creates zero-length applications.menu file which is weird. -- Alacarte corrupts applications.menu when remove item added by wine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310202 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
