Administrative tools doesn't work too. Like synaptic, network manager, etc.
I tried now upgrading to stable version (clean breezy to dapper), but the 
problem persists.
Installing edubuntu 6.06(clean installation) with all upgrades (aptitude update 
&& aptitude dist-upgrade), produces the same effect.
