Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hal

I got a Sony laptop PCG-FRV31 with a wireless card Airlink (AWLC4130)
that works fine when I first installed the old version of Ubuntu 7 then,
I upgraded it with 8.04 and finally with 8.10. The problem raised when
the upgrade took place from the old version to the 8.04, the wireless
went completely obsolete. Someone recommend me to use Wine and to try to
install from the original CD witch never worked for me. I am a first
time user of Linux OS and I really like it but I really need to get this
thing work.
