Since there is a specific samba bug, recognizable by a specific
backtrace, that is known to cause a silent SIGABRT exit, can I suggest
that a separate bug be established for mysterious exits that are
definitely *not* the samba issue? It seems clear that whatever
mattcasters and nanotube are experiencing is not the samba bug.

BTW, there are instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs
for getting a stacktrace for a Firefox crash, which is a necessary
starting point for having the Firefox dev team figure out what these
other failures are.
