I can confirm that all these packages can be installed alongside the unstripped ffmpeg libs without any problem, they also all run fine, but I can't say for sure if the features which use ffmpeg work, but it would be surprising if they don't. cmus: playing music works libdlna0: launching ushare which rdepends it works, so it works ushare: haven't figured out how to use it properly mocp: playing music works idjc: needs jack, and I can't get it to run openmovieeditor: same paraview: seems to work smilutils: not sure, I haven't been able to get the ffmpeg2raw binary to produce something, but using the stripped variant wasn't more successful xmms2: playing music works
