Ubuntu better. However, it seems that you are not using a software
package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories (Gfire plugin).
Because of this the Ubuntu project cannot support or fix your particular
bug. You may however find it useful to upgrade to the latest release of
Ubuntu, which includes Pidgin 2.5.2. If the problem still occurs, please
report this bug to the provider of the software package. Thanks!
