Hi! 2 days ago, my Ubuntu stopped installing any package, including updates. One example of what I'm experiencing: ------------------------ ad...@adame-laptop:~$ sudo apt-get install tar Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... After this operation, 2298kB of additional disk space will be used. Get:1 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main tar 1.20-1 [338kB] Fetched 338kB in 2s (132kB/s) dpkg-deb (subprocess): failed to exec tar: No such file or directory dpkg-deb: subprocess tar returned error exit status 2 dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/tar_1.20-1_i386.deb (--unpack): subprocess dpkg-deb --control returned error exit status 2 Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/tar_1.20-1_i386.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) ------------------------ And this happen with any install I try to do.
