Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libneon27
System: Ubuntu 8.04.1 libneon27: 0.27.2-1 Neon to reproduce: * server "test.test.com" is resolvable over DNS and serves something kerberized, for example subversion via apache * add local entry in /etc/hosts named "bla" pointing to IP of test.test.com * use neon to access test.test.com: svn ls http://test.test.com/svn... => neon uses the principal HTTP/[email protected] instead of the correct HTTP/[email protected] You will see some message claiming "access denied", the log on the kdc will show messages of unconfigured server "bla". This is probably due to some erranous double / reverse dns lookup. ** Affects: neon27 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- neon confuses hostname in kerberos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310887 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
