First of all, thanks for the swift response. When trying to answer your question, I found the solution. After installation, the path variable is apparently empty. Setting the path using the path tool solved the problem. However, since I still did (and do) not know where the program and the m-files are actually stored I cast my net as wide as possible when setting the path, i.e. I used /home.
