The patch referenced in comment #2 is part of the backport of the driver done
for bug 286370.
This bug has been marked as invalid because it is a duplicate of 286370 and
that bug has already been
fixed before intrepid release.
If this bug continues to occur, please file a new bug with stack traces
etc. from the released kernel.
