Yes it's still a problem I got an msi VR630-Q6026VHP Notebook and I'm unable to install ubuntu 8.10 The Ubuntu Logo appears after saying install Ubuntu the thing under it scrolls a couple time back and forth then it starts from the left after about an eights the screen goes black and nothing happens. I tried all of the boot Options given in this thread, but no change. CPU: AMD DUAL Core QL60 HDD SATA 160GB Memory 2GB Grafics: nvidea There seem to be other Users having problems with the msi VR630 notebook I tried only the 32bit version cause people said this one has less isues. please help
