I believe I am affected by this bug as well. It may be a different problem, but it seems related. Burned DATA DVDs can't seem to be mounted. I have tested kernel 2.6.27-7 and 2.6.27-11 on Intrepid. Blank DVDs are seen normally and I have no trouble burning. However, once they are burned, they can't be mounted. I have tested several brands of blank DVDs, different computers/drives running Ubuntu, and burning with different applications. I have not found a fix yet.
Testing the burned DVDs in other devices (ie. PS3) show that they can be mounted and used normally. No messages are recorded in logs, but attempting to mount the disc manually produces this error: mount: No medium found Let me know if you need more information to track this down. -- Can´t mount written dvd´s.
