I believe I am affected by this bug as well. Burned DATA DVDs can't seem to be mounted. I have tested kernel 2.6.27-7 and 2.6.27-11 on Intrepid. Blank DVDs are seen normally and I have no trouble burning. However, once they are burned, they can't be mounted. I have tested several brands of blank DVDs, different computers/drives running Ubuntu, and burning with different applications. I have not found a fix yet.
Testing the burned DVDs in other devices (ie. PS3) show that they can be mounted and used normally.
