I am closing the report. As Anthony stated this got nothing to do with kdesudo. kdesu (as shipped by KDE) goes to /usr/lib/kde4/libexec, so it is not accessible from the quick launcher nor a shell. Kdesudo does nothing more but replace KDE's kdesu (in that very same path) with a link to /usr/bin/kdesudo in order to ensure every access to kdesu gets redirected to kdesudo.
Hein van Rensburg has a different problem. Something or someone altered the file /etc/sudoers in a non-valid way making it impossible for sudo to process this configuration. I recommend to use the usual support channels as per http://www.kubuntu.org/support to get this issue resolved (if not already.
