Which Ghostscript version do you have ("dpkg -l ghostscript")? Can you
have a look at bug 288570 and follow the instructions posted there to
install ghostscript_8.63.dfsg.1-0ubuntu6.1 from -proposed (comment from
Martin Pitt near the end).
Does this solve your problem?
Please also update CUPS to 1.3.9.2ubuntu6 from -proposed.
