John, Thank you for your reply. After I sent this bug report I realized that I sent it to the wrong place. I am having problems with evolution, not thunderbird. Thunderbird is working great, and does not have this problem. I have resent this bug report to evolution. Again thanks for your reply. I think this "bug" can be considered resolved, at least as far as thunderbird goes.
