It looks like a lot of people started getting the problem after an upgrade, 
possibly in ghostscript? Maybe we should test an older gs version?

It claims here
(http://www.linuxfoundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/Database/CanonFAQ#How_do_I_set_this_printer_up_with_Debian.3F)
that the message "not support this image format" is good/normal.
