Public bug reported:

IMHO the installer, compared to that of something like SuSE, is really
lacking in the areas of partitioning and bootloader:

The partitioning tool by default wanted to eat my other distro and it
was not straightforward to figure out how to change that behaviour.

It should also perform checks on the functionality of the final
configuration. In my case I had problems after installation because
apparently 25MB is not enough for a boot partition.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
