Binary package hint: evolution
Evolution reports "unable to retrieve message." I have Ubuntu 8.10,
Evolution 2.24.2. The service was working for about 10 days before the
problem arose. I was attempting to import a Hotmail account by randomly
applying "MS" information and clicking "send/receive" buttons to verify
the connection to the MS server. After about 6 "send/receive"
attempts-- previous accounts that were fully functional would only
display the subject matter and ~1/2 the total number of messages. The
remainder of the "subjects" would display "unable to retrieve message."
Evolution has recently had a history of crashing -without any errors
that I can notice (although I am an Ubuntu noob).
