Binary package hint: update-manager
I recently upgraded two Ubuntu systems, while the upgrades went well the
"time remaining" counter was so far off it was ridiculous. The tow
laptops (IBM x40/x41) showed the same behavior: the counter clearly has
absolutely no information - it should be fixed or removed.
If this is a problem with apt I don't know, and solving it is probably
very tricky, but for my two laptops the current information is worse
than nothing: the final "4" minutes took about an hour to complete.
