Yes this powernow-k8 annoyance hasn't gone away, and it's been left unfixed for so long I don't think you'll ever fix it. In over a month, I've seen fewer than 9 updates in Synaptic. I'm pretty sure by now development has gone downhill. I might go back to windows soon!
I get powernow-k8: ignoring illegal change in lo freq table-4 to 0x0 powernow-k8: transition frequency failed (repeats endlessly) ULV 1.2 GHz Turion Dual Core on a raon everun note. By the way I have the working firmware for the wifi on this notebook that you guys failed to include in your distro. It's hard as hell to find, maybe you want it? megam...@gmail . com -- powernow-k8: ignoring illegal change with cpufreq-selector https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163600 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
