Yes this powernow-k8 annoyance hasn't gone away, and it's been left
unfixed for so long I don't think you'll ever fix it.  In over a month,
I've seen fewer than 9 updates in Synaptic.  I'm pretty sure by now
development has gone downhill.  I might go back to windows soon!

I get
 powernow-k8: ignoring illegal change in lo freq table-4 to 0x0
 powernow-k8: transition frequency failed

(repeats endlessly)

ULV 1.2 GHz Turion Dual Core on a raon everun note.  By the way I have
the working firmware for the wifi on this notebook that you guys failed
to include in your distro.  It's hard as hell to find, maybe you want
it?  megam...@gmail . com
