The old hardware *.log files are below attached from this comment. To differentiate from laptop reports a number 2 were added to the end of name files to avoid file overwriting, so the names are for instance dmesg2.log instead of dmesg.log. The problem in dmesg can be read from [18867.557628] until end of file. This is also Kubuntu 8.10.
