Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Classic scenario...

I can receive mail from my gmail, comcast, and my 1and1 mail accounts
through the thunderbird client. But, I cannot send mail... Receive a
"Sending of message failed" error that states it's unable to connect to
the SMTP server. Nothing has changed with the settings for outbound
mail...I've confirmed that. Ports are correct, authentication is
correct....it just stopped working. Is there a solution to this? And
if so, why does this happen?
