I was able to get Gollage to run under Ubuntu 8.10. First I had to install ImageMagick-6.4.8-3... downloaded from the ImageMagick website. Next I had to build ImageMagick from the source.
After uncompressing the source; in the ImageMagick-6.4.8.3 folder type: ./configure make (check for errors here before proceeding) sudo make install ldconfig gollage Note: I already had an older version of ImageMagick installed before I proceeded. This version of ImageMagick is not supported by Synaptic yet. This make from source was necessary for the MagickWand and MagickCore tools to work. I hope this helps. -- [needs-packaging] gollage https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173240 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
