Setting status back to Triaged, since more information has been provided.
For me, it works with amarok-kde4 (Amarok 2) from the kubuntu-members PPA, as
far as I've tested it (using Global Keyboard Shortcuts from the "Keyboard &
Mouse" application in System Settings).
I guess this bug might get resolved, once Amarok 2 enters Jaunty and is
the new default player.
