Thanks for reporting this bug and contributing to ubuntu. If you go to
http://express.paltalk.com/ and sign up for this beta site, it is
buggy... I did and was asked to install a JRE newer than 1.4 see the
attachment. I have installed ubuntu-restriced-extras and now most of the
content works for me. Paltalk as far as I know still continues not to
support linux directly. With that being said, I have mostly everything
working after install the ubuntu-restricted-extras.
You can simply install it by:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
