I added a new /etc/init.d script that just uses logger to generate a message every second and set it up to start automatically at S99. After rebooting a number of times it seems that the system goes about 85 seconds (lowest I got was 84; highest 87) after it starts my script at S99, then reboots. There are no other messages in the log file.
I really have no idea what to do next. Is there any way to generate more detailed logs? Should I try disabling acpi or some other power control feature just in case?
