I know this will be a bit frustrating, but please bear with me since I'm just a normal user and not a "linux demi-god". Hopefully somebody much more knowledgeable than me can help fix the problems that I can't. #1 I wasn't able to reproduce this one - I'm also running Ubuntu Intrepid and tried going there, it works fine for me. Have you installed any plugins? I've heard of people having Firefox crash when some plugins are installed. #2 Can you make sure Firefox isn't set to delete private info on closeout? (Edit>Preferences>Privacy>"Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" should be unchecked) Also, can you double-check to make sure it's set to actually remember passwords (Under the Security tab in preferences), and that you don't have any sites in the exceptions list? #3 I don't have any idea how to fix this one, but if your browsing profile is constantly being erased, that'd definitely cause your issues in #2.
