The mime icon for *.doc files in dolphin is "?" instead of the ms-word icon.
Temp. solution for my kubuntu 8.04, KDE 4.1.2:
Make a symmlink from application-vnd.ms-word.svgz to application-msword.svgz in
/usr/lib/kde4/share/icons/oxygen/scalable (/128x128, 64x64 etc.) and run sudo
touch -m /usr/lib/kde4/share/icons/default.kde4
** Affects: kdebase-runtime (Ubuntu)
