Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

Some pdf's have forms that cannot be saved. When opening the form in
Adobe Reader the user is prompted with the message You cannot save data
typed into this form. Please print if you would like a copy for your
records.

evince happily lets the user enter and save data. However when opening
it back up the data is gone. The file then does not open at all in
Adobe. I would expect that evince should warn users of data fields that
cannot be saved. This was done with evince 2.24.1 and adobe reader 8 in
Ubuntu 8.10

I believe evince has an option to override such restrictions so it's
possible that the bug is more of a generic unable to save fields bug.

** Affects: evince (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
