There we go, that would be the reason. For me it says

'now' origin: '' label: '' site '' isTrusted: 'False']

What is the output of "apt-cache policy firefox-3.0"? Maybe you have a
weird mirror which mis-mirrors the Release files? Can you please show
me your /etc/apt/sources.list?
