Ubuntu better, but unfortunately I've been unable to reproduce your
issue on Ubuntu 8.10. Can you reproduce this issue with an Ubuntu LIVE
CD and report back if the problem still exists on Ubuntu 8.10 LIVE CD?
What are the exact steps you take to reproduce this error? What
versions of Ubuntu and Pidgin does this effect?
