Public bug reported:

I have the display connect using component video dongle YPbPr to 32 inch
high definition television. Quality much better than vga. Installer
fails due to included technical info. After rebooting I am atleast
capable of a 1024x768 resolution but only in blue and white. Adjusting
the color setting does not change work. I made attempts to use other
versions included in "restricted drivers" only to get the same bug.
