Public bug reported:

Since the upgrade to jaunty the X cursor jumps from time to time. This
also happens everytime _after_ login into Gnome. I have not yet seen
this in GDM. The cursor jumps a few pixels diagonally to a position to
the lower right of the original position of the cursor and returns a
short time later to the original position.

I use a laptop and I am quite sure that accidently touching the touchpad
is not the problem.

I use the i8042.nomux=1 kernel option.

I append the lspci --vvnn output for my graphicy card, the current Xorg
log and xorg.conf.

** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
