Public bug reported:
I have a Dell PowerEdge SC1425 server that I am installed 8.10 server
on. The server has an onboard Intel Cerca SATA RAID controller, and I
have set up two drives in a mirror (RAID1).
During the install of 8.10, I was prompted to enable the SATA RAID,
which I did, and the installation went fine. However, when I rebooted
the system, Ubuntu failed to come up and placed me at the shell. The
error I received was something like this
-Alert! /dev/mapper/ddf1_RAID11 does not exist
Then when I run the command 'dmraid -ay' at the prompt and exit out of
the shell, Ubuntu comes up fine.
