Bonjour, I reported this bug sooner https://launchpad.net/bugs/75009 . this reported bug is during the installation of a ubuntu 6.10 . So, I tried a silly thing : trying to install ubuntu 6.06 on the same hardware ... and no problem during the first boot, no problem with the hardware. with ubuntu 6.06, I can use a software raid as a root partition but with Ubuntu 6.10, I can't . the problem with Ubuntu 6.10 is during the first boot ( I find no solution to pass over this problem ) : With a software raid with sata disk, the ramdisk try to find a hda which never existed. I didn't try yet the recovery process, this regression may be considered as a bug. Samuel.
