Hello, I have the same problems. The hotkey has a simple workaround. Simply run the following command to perform the function of your CRT/LCD function key.
xrandr --auto The second problem is the one I'm interested in. I am unable to run my external monitor at its native resolution (which is greater than the laptop's internal screen). The resolution applet seems to show only resolutions supported by both displays when in mirroring mode. Instead, I would like it to display all resolutions for both displays and allow me to choose the one I want. It's ok if the laptop screen doesn't fit the resolution I chose because the lid may be closed anyway. Thanks, Cuchaz -- automatically mirror displays to the larger resolution when connecting an external monitor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/299653 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
