I'm having what appears to be the same problem with smbnetfs: a crash
when accessing an SMB network share. It took longer when I ran it in
non-threaded mode, but it eventually happened. SIGABRT showed up when
running under gdb. After this occurs, accessing my mount point fails
and sometimes produces a "Transport endpoint is not connected" error
message.
The problem might lie in libsmbclient.
It might be related to bug 198351.
