Unfortunately I had to dump my wubi install so I can't get this to you. Our sysadmins didn't like the fact that it modified the boot process.... so I am relegated to my sub-standard operating system. :(
Still, this was a legit bug. My machine has an ATI graphics card and I was running Compiz in on the highest graphics settings, however, it didn't work on the low settings either. I turned off all the acpi stuff and initially I thought that solved the problem.
