Can you actually open a new bug report -

because you use a different sound card and codec than the original bug
reporter. It's helpful to the kernel team if bug reports target a
specific problem against a specific set of hardware. Before opening the
new bug report, if you could test the latest pre-release of Jaunty to
confirm this is still and issue that would be great -

Ethan, since you are the original bug reporter and we have not heard
back from you I'm closing this report for now. If you are able to test
the pre-release of Jaunty as I mentioned to Brian and can confirm this
is still an issue, feel free to reopen this report by setting the status
