Public bug reported: When launching synfigstudio from the Main Menu, a dialogue with the text:
This copy of Synfig Studio was compiled against a different version of libsynfig than what is currently installed. Synfig Studio will now abort. Try downloading the latest version from the Synfig website at http://www.synfig.com/ appears. And nothing else happens. When I try to launch synfigstudio in a terminal, the response is: synfigstudio: Symbol `_ZTVN6synfig17LinkableValueNodeE' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking I've installed synfigstudio v. 0.61.07-1build1 via Synaptic package manager in Hardy. When installing synfigstudio it also installed libsynfig0 in version 0.61.08-3build1~hardy1. I guess that's the version difference referred to in the dialogue. ** Affects: synfigstudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- compiled against a different version of libsynfig https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/315213 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
