Hi. I would be able to test it if i can download an image with the kernel loaded in it, because i don't have this laptop anymore (but my sister has it).
I think she has a version of mint installed. I'll take a look if it's based on hardy, load the proposed repository and see if i can test it from there. either way, i'll post it asap the results.
