Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I have an NVidia AGP 6600. If I have xorg.conf configured with xinerama
(multiple devices, screens, etc), the upgrade to 1:7.1.1ubuntu6.2 causes
X to hard lock when it's loading the NVidia drivers, and the last line
in /var/log/messages mentions changing AGP to 8x. Everything works if I
turn of xinerama and remove the extra devices. Everything worked fine in
dapper on earlier versions of xorg (although again, upgrades there
caused the same problem), and everything worked fine on the initial
version (1:7.1.1ubuntu6) in eft.

PLEASE include an AGP/xinerama system in your QA setup. You are
consistently breaking my machine when you push out xorg upgrades. While
it's a somewhat rare setup, it's probably not hugely uncommon among geek
users. I'm strongly considering migrating to a different distro if you
can't get a better QA path into your xorg upgrade process.
