X crashed again with the intel driver. For now, the crash seems to be related to high cpu usage periods (I was copying a file over a slow usb 1.1 link). Strangely enough, when copying such files, Xorg is the cpu hog (even with the VESA driver it uses ~90% of the CPU). Is there a known workaround/work in progress to address this? Or pehaps a different driver (without 3d support) i can use?
