Today I had a kernel panic!! I brought my laptop to my office, where we have a ethernet LAN, while at home I only have a wireless network. I could successfully login, KDE started and all was fine on the desktop, until I inserted the cable into the ethernet port. Then, as soon as I put my finger on the touchpad, the capslock key started blinking and the system hung again. File kern.log follows.
