In windows xp with drivers 40 series for this card i have no problem. A have a button to switch off/on flat panel (display) - FN+F11. When I press this button flat pannel is swtching off. Pressing again and it switch on. But.. When it switch on i see incorrect resolution on the screen - see screenshot (attachment). To fix resolution i must go to the TTY-console (Ctrl+Alt+F1) and go back to "X". Then correct resolution is restored. As I sayd in Windows XP i haven't this problem. I can't confirm this problem with binary Nvidia driver (propr.) in Ubuntu, because another issue denied installation of the nvidia-glx-96 package.
