Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better, but unfortunately I've been unable to reproduce your
issue on Ubuntu 8.10. Could you attach some of the pictures you are
having a problem with? Maybe the images are too big in size, and the
printer is running out of memory while trying to print them. I've seen
issues like this before.
