** Description changed:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Hi all,
My PC is on 24*7 . At night time I put the g-p-m at 1 minute while when
working its 20 minutes or something.
- In Intrepid it worked, in jaunty its not. It gets in 1 minute only.
+ In Intrepid it worked, in jaunty its not.
+
+ ok lemme be more clear.
+
+ I follow 2 ways/strategies for powering of monitor or not.
+
+ When I'm sleeping or not using the computer the monitor is supposed to
+ sleep in 1 minute.
+
+ When I'm working obviously I want that it should not power off so
+ quickly hence set the delay to 20 minutes.
+
+ What this means now it should not switch off the monitor for 20 minutes.
+
+ This strategy worked in Intrepid and in jaunty no matter what values I
+ set it goes to sleep in 1 minute.
+
+ It gets in 1 minute only.
+
+ gnome-screensaver is always a minute behind gnome-power-manager and that
+ is good.
What could be wrong?
