I haven't upgraded to 8.10 yet. I'll be upgrading to the next lts package when it comes. The bug is with the evolution integration plugin. After disabling that Piding worked fine again.
Now there's a new bug...after the release of the new MSN, MSN usually only works on XP and won't log me in from Ubuntu. And that's the weird thing - it will actually log me on 1 in 20 times. That's all the feedback I have at this point.
