I compiled the latest stable kernel and the problem still persists. So my question is: what can I do so someone will look at the problem? I read at kernel.org that it would be helpfull to compile kernel with serial-console support and that one can even use a parport-printer to send the output from screen to. I have a parport-printer but no idea how to set it up to work with serial-console. So maybe someone can help? The bug was also reported here: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12352 It looks like it does not help to send pictures of what one can see on screen so it may be helpfull to set up this serial-console-thing but how?
